The minor in computer science emphasizes the fundamentals of software development, and requires between 21 and 24 hours of coursework, depending ACT/SAT scores or successful completion of placement testing. The minor is valuable for students majoring in the sciences or business who wish to develop a range of contemporary programming skills.
