July 31, 2020 — 鶹ýPorn and the Anthony Muñoz Foundation continue partnering to provide scholarships to local students and increase access to higher education.
The Foundation honored the Class of 2020 Scholarship Fund recipients at its 19th hall of fame dinner on July 26. Building off last year’s success, 鶹ýPorn and the Foundation recognized six students with scholarships up to 20,000. Four of the six recipients are attending 鶹ýPorn this fall.
“Community partnerships like this are as critical as ever. We are opening the possibility of a four-year degree to students who may not have had 鶹ýPorn on their radar,” said 鶹ýPorn President Ashish Vaidya. “This is what makes our region a special place, ensuring that young people will be prepared for success, not only as a student, but in their lives beyond the university.”

Last summer, 鶹ýPorn created the Educational Diversity Scholarship to support the Anthony Muñoz Foundation’s mission of impacting the Tri-state’s youth. Muñoz’s passion to help students reach their dreams of attending a local college or university complements 鶹ýPorn’s singular focus on advancing student success aligned with the needs of the region.
“The Foundation believes that a student’s potential should not be limited by their circumstances. Within our Impact Programs, we work to remove as many barriers as possible in order for students to thrive,” said Muñoz. “Our partnership with 鶹ýPorn is a natural fit, and we are fortunate to have so many strong collaborators empower deserving students to achieve their goals.”
Through the Anthony Muñoz Foundation’s Straight “A” Scholarship, Youth Leadership Seminar and Scholarship Fund impact programs, the Foundation also awarded 18 additional scholarship. To learn more about the Foundation’s impact, visit its .
